View Menu

The View Menu contains commands that change the screen display, the selected files and folders.

Refresh [F2]:
Refreshes the active panel, so that it is updated after file operations like rename, copy and so on. When the action was performed using Atol this happens automatically.

Swap Panels [CTRL]+U:
Lets the panels change their place, thus the left panel becomes the right panel and vice versa.

Equal Panels [CTRL]+E:
Changes the inactive panel window into the same directory as the active window.

Show Hidden Files:
When activated (a tick in front of the item) even files with a "hidden" or "system" attribut are shown. Otherwise, files with these attributs will be invisible.

Filter:
This option enables you to filter the panel list and show only files that match some defined property requirements.

You can filter files using combination of:
  • filter by file name (include only files with name matched by some wildcard name pattern, within that set exclude files matched by another name pattern)

Selection:
Options for selecting or deselecting files according to specific patterns.

  • All:
Selects all visible files in the active panel
  • None:
Selects no file and removes all existing selections.
  • Invert:
Invert the selection of files in the active panel. All files that were selected before using the command will be deselected afterwards and vice versa.
  • Select [+]:
All files with the search pattern being entered in the dialog will be selected.
  • Deselect [-]:
Files with the search pattern entered in the search box will no longer be selected
